Tips

• The park is open all year round, but the best time to visit is from April to October when the climate is mild and the days are long. Trekking routes are not recommended during the months of July and August when temperatures can be extremely high.
• Access to the island is only permitted by ferry or private boat. Ferries leave from Porto Torres and Stintino.
• It is advisable to book accommodation in advance, especially during the high season.
• There are several bars and restaurants available in the park, but it is advisable to bring water and food with you if you decide to go on long excursions.
• Respect the environment and follow the park rules to preserve the beauty of this unique place.
• Dogs are NOT allowed on the island.
