Summer is coming and the Emilia Romagna region is preparing for a special event: the Celestial Nights. The spa resorts will come alive with light shows, guided tours, and live music until midnight, when the sky will be filled with bright blue balloons.
It seems like an excellent opportunity to visit some of the most beautiful places in Emilia Romagna while taking advantage of the famous thermal spas in the region- Cervia, Rimini, Fratta Terme, Bagno di Romagna, Riccione, Monticelli Terme, Castel San Pietro, Riolo Terme, Salsomaggiore terme, Porretta Terme, Castrocaro terme, Sassuolo, Bertinoro, Thermae Oasis di Comacchio.
Spas are offering special packages throughout the weekend of June 22-24.
Cervia: Inauguration of the Salt Terrace, Swimming pool with whirlpool, Salt Scrub, thermal pool entrance, shopper with surprise gift for the first 200 guests, DJ set + 1 drink = € 15.00
Lido delle Nazioni, Comacchio, Thermae Oasis: party with street food, food stands, live music. Entrance to the Wellness Gardens from 8pm to 11pm- cost € 11.00
Bertinoro: starting at 4.30 pm, e-bike excursion around the spa, followed by aperitif, yoga session, walk in the surrounding area and live music. In the evening there will be a picnic in the park, with events for chidren, the Starry Dinner and concert. On the morning of Sunday, June 24: walk in the park of the spa to discover the healing properties of the thermal springs
Bagno di Romagna: events start at 3.30 pm on June 23, with games for children, snacks and street artists along the streets of the town center. At 9:00 pm, there will be a walk, free dessert tasting and music evening. Sunday, June 24 will be dedicated to hiking and nature walks
Salsomaggiore: Saturday, June 24 vintage market, entertainment on the streets of the town center, live music, aperitifs and open shops
Monterenzio: Saturday, June 24 relaxation between thermal pools and sauna, or Acquapark. There are two packages: € 24.00 per person for spa, water park, entertainment and buffet (drinks not included); € 47.00 for spas, water park, entertainment, buffet, spa scrub with celestial sea salt
Rimini, Riminiterme: Saturday, June 24 from 6:30 pm activities for children, followed by the Rustida di pesce “azzurro”; dance show and fireworks. The spa will be open until 24:00. The event is free with paid dinner
Monticelli Terme: from 7:00 pm, Saturday, June 24 aperitif at the solarium with live music
Baths of Castel San Pietro: fun for children, train from the historic center to the spa, dances and fireworks, stalls with handicrafts and typical products
Castrocaro Terme: Saturday, June 23 exhibition “Sacred and Profane: the arts between 1500 and 1600”, entry for 2 to the SPA (one free admission), aperitif with live music; Sunday, June 24 guided tour of the Fortress of Castrocaro starting at 10:00 am
