The Santa Serena Farmhouse lies in Valnerina in the heart of beautiful Umbria. It has been finely restored with stone and local materials. Located in Cerreto di Spoleto, at the foot of Monte Maggiore (m. 1423), the agriturismo boasts a wonderful location allowing you to visit other major sights. Lake Trasimeno, Perugia, Norcia, Cascia, Spoleto, and Assisi are all within reach.
The rural residence, simple and welcoming, is the perfect refuge for a relaxing stay. It has seven apartments and three rooms.

What to See and Do in Umbria
Nearby Monti Sibillini National Park in Visso includes the highest mountainous group of the Umbria-Marche Apennines. Visso is a picturesque historic town that was supposedly founded over 900 years before Rome.
The Valnerina Gorges carved by the Nera river and the mountain massif of Monte Bove are also nearby. Also located within the national park is the town of Norcia. Norcia is known for being the home of the Patron Saint of Europe, Saint Benedict, as well as for its splendid historic center.
Nearby Preci holds the Abbey of Sant’Eutizio which was founded in 470 AD, and also where the Preciana Surgical School was founded.
The area is also well-known for its trekking trails and guided tours within the park. Many of the paths are foot trails but there are also mountain bike trails and horse trails. One of the most famous is the Saffron Trail which traces the ancient spice route from Abruzzo.
Climbing is also widespread in this area, especially on the northern slopes of Mount Bove. Visitors can also paraglide and hang glide.
