The Magic World of Santa Claus
Beloved Santa Claus with his long white beard awaits you in Via dei Neri in the evocative Augustinian Cloister. It will be a special, magical encounter. The little ones will be able to give him their letters and meet his elves, the reindeer and gnomes.
Opening hours: November 23, 24 and 30, 2019 and December 1, 7, 8, 14, 15, 21, 22, 23, 24, 26, 28, 29 in the morning from 10 am to 1 pm and in the afternoon from 3 pm to 7 pm; December 10, 17, and 25 open only in the afternoon from 3 pm to 7 pm.
Fairy Tale Village
A place where everything becomes possible, where children enter a fantastic, fairy-tale world. This enchanted atmosphere will be full of fairies, magicians, and animation in Piazza Matteotti with many surprises and activities for the little ones.
Opening hours: Saturday mornings from 10 am to 12.30 pm and on weekdays from 3 pm to 6.30 pm. Dates: November 23, 24, 30 and December 1, 7, 8, 14, 15 until 29 December and January 4, 5, 2020.
The Train
This charming little train will make stops in: Piazza Matteotti, Piazza della Vittoria, and Piazza Farinata degli Uberti.
Active every day from November 30th, 2019 to January 6th, 2020 during the hours: 10 am to 1 pm, and from 3 pm to 11 pm.
Rides and Ice Skating Rink
In Piazza Matteotti, there will be fun on the ice skating rink and on the themed rides for children. The rink has been completely redone with a special track.
Opening times: Beginning Saturday, November 23 from 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm. From December 20-26 from 10:30 am to 11 pm.
French Village Christmas Market
Beginning November 29th in Piazza della Vittoria, little wooden chalets will be offering genuine flavors and products from France. You’ll find beautiful, unique gift ideas and souvenirs with true artisan craftsmanship.
Opening times: On weekends November 29, 30 and December 1, 7, 8, 14, 15 and from December 20 to 24 from 9:30 am to 7:30 pm.
Lights, Snow, and More!
Snow will magically fall regardless of the weather forecast to the astonishment of the crowd. Every Saturday and Sunday at 4.30 pm – 5.30 pm – 6.30 pm – 7.30 pm in Piazza Farinata degli Uberti.
Video projections will light up the buildings of the historic center with their mesmerizing and evocative images. In both Piazza della Vittoria and Piazza Farinata degli Uberti every day from 4 pm to 7:30 pm.
The various selfie stations will allow you to capture the best moments of the evening with friends and family! Sit in the fairy-tale carriage or pose under the “lovers’ heart” to name a few!
New Year’s Eve 2020
And to celebrate New Year’s Eve 2020, the city of Empoli is waiting for you in Piazza della Vittoria from 10:00 pm with a DJ set and entertainment.
