Prices are for two people. Extra persons: € 100 extra per person per week.

Payment Method: payment can be made by credit card with an advance of 30% and balance due 1 month before. The reservation can be made up to a week from the check-in: in this case, the total payment of the stay is required.

The Apartment

Near the city of Florence, this agriturismo is immersed in the rural Tuscan landscape: unpaved roads, rows of vineyard and olive trees and dotted with cypress trees. The property is on about 50 hectares of land where olive trees and grapes are cultivated producing a very precious extra virgin olive oil and an excellent Chianti wine in the same way that it has been done for generations. The farmhouse is surrounded by greenery, away from the noise of the city; but at the same time, the location allows you to quickly reach historical centers of considerable importance such as Florence, Siena and Arezzo. The agriturismo and all it produces is run by the family; this is why guests can come into contact with the essence of the Tuscan farm culture, thus appreciating simple, healthy living.

What to Do and See

The Pieve di S. Pietro a Cascia is a must-see. Perfectly preserved, thanks to constant and accurate restorations, it is a typical example of Romanesque architecture. It is also the only church in the area to have preserved the original form of the portico. To the right of the church, a majestic bell tower covered in pietra serena, seems to touch the sky.

Next to the Pieve is another very important point of interest, both historical and cultural: the Masaccio Museum of Sacred Art. Inside the museum you’ll find paintings of Florentine art, silver, ecclesiastical objects and a collection of sacred vestments. In addition, you’ll find a room dedicated entirely to the Trittico di San Giovenale di Masaccio. The frescoes of La Camera del Pievano, a large altar piece by Agnolo Guidotti da Fiesole and the Annunciazione del Bronzino are also noteworthy.

The Valleombrosa Abbey is also worth visiting. This mighty building, thanks to its tower and its bell tower, appears to be a castle at first glance. This abbey is the custodian of works of art of immeasurable historical and artistic value.

For nature enthusiasts, you’ll be able to rent bicycles and e-bikes or take walks along the countless paths in the area such as the “Seven Bridges”.

For gourmets, the territory offers a variety of options including wine cellars, wine bars, typical restaurants and trattorias which offer tourists a wide choice of typical local dishes, which can be enjoyed accompanied by a glass of wine.
