Book this sunset guided tour on the slopes of Etna!
You’ll be accompanied by expert hiking guides as you climb along the slopes of the highest active volcano in Europe in complete safety. You’ll observe the different lava fronts and discover the lunar landscapes and the luxuriant woods that characterize the territory of Etna.
You will then explore volcanic caves in the company of guides, who will tell you everything you need to know about the mysterious volcanic phenomena of Etna, in addition to the myths and legends that affect this territory.
During this sunset tour, you’ll climb up to 2900 meters with a 4×4 Jeep, where you can admire the summit craters of the Etna volcano and enjoy the wonderful sunset view all the while accompanied by an expert mountain guide.
The sunset excursion, like the morning one, lasts 5 hours and is a very low difficulty level. It’s suitable for the whole family, including children and seniors.
While traveling by bus to Rifugio Sapienza, you’ll be amazed at the incredible lunar landscapes of Etna park.

- Sapienza Refuge (5:00 pm)
- Continue up the climb in a Jeep from 2100 meters to 2900 meters (5:45 pm)
- See the sunset
- Descend with Jeep from 2900 meters to 2100 meters (arrival at Rifugio Sapienza 20.30)
