The farmhouse is immersed in the hills of Lorenzana (Pisa). The Pelusi family arrived in this small village in 1949 from the Abruzzo region and have since managed the agriturismo with love and wisdom. Handed down from father to son, the farm measures approximately 30 hectares. Here, they produce wine, extra virgin olive oil, honey and the fodder and wheat necessary for their Chianina cattle.

What to See and Do During Your Stay in Tuscany
The strategic location of this farmhouse in the province of Pisa allows you to quickly reach some of the major cities and charming villages in Tuscany.
Pisa is an important Italian city located on the bank of the Arno River which had its heyday from the eleventh to the thirteenth century. It was an important cultural center both in the past and in the present, with the university founded in 1343 and the famous Scuola Normale Superiore. Piazza del Duomo is the most important artistic and tourist center of Pisa composed of the Cathedral, the Baptistery, the Campo Santo and the Bell Tower. Obviously this is the place where the “Leaning Tower” is located.
Typical dishes are often based on beans, boiled fish and cod. A typical dessert is the Torta co bischeri which is a delicious chocolate pie with pinenuts. It represents the most typical product of the whole city.
Livorno is a port city that boasts excellent fish cuisine and a charming neighborhood called Venezia Nuova. With its bridges, canals, and squares, it retains some of the atmosphere of the Serenissima Republic. This neighborhood was created in the 1700s in order to transport goods to and from the port for storage for the merchant class.
The town of Lari is part of the municipality of Casciana Terme Lari. In the past, Lari was an important political, administrative and agricultural center. It was known for centuries as the “capital of the Pisan hills”. Stroll through the historic center and visit the Castello dei Vicari.
Just a short distance away, you can also visit the marvelous Tuscan towns of Volterra, San Gimignano, San Miniato, Siena and Montalcino, and their traditional Christmas markets.
