The 69th annual Bertiolo Wine Festival will be held this year from March 10- March 25 in Bertiolo, Udine, in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region of Italy. This event is special not only for its incredible wines, but also for the numerous events planned. The DOC wines characteristic of this area include greats such as: Pinot Noir, Refosco dal Peduncolo, and whites, Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Gewurztraminer and Riesling. This year  organic wines will also have a presence, and new technology will allow for a streamlined experience as visitors can download an app on their smart phones allowing them to vote for their favorites. 

As with any event in Italy, local delicacies will be available, numerous artisanal products and vendors on display, and  a program of events that will delight the entire family.
