Spring is definitely in the air in Colorno (province of Parma) at the gardening expo “Nel Segno del Giglio” now in its 26th edition. The magnificent location of the event has remained unchanged: the historical park of the sumptuous Royal Palace of Maria Luisa of Austria, formerly of the Farnese family. The dates this year are April 12, 13 and 14.
This year, more than ever, there will be a focus on quality guaranteeing visitors the pleasure of discovering new plants and ideas, of interacting with experts, of spending a special day in the truly unique historical and environmental context of the magnificent park of the Royal Palace.
New this year will be wonderful ideas on how to transform your balcony whether it’s in full sun, partial sun, or shade. You’ll come away with solutions for all types of gardens and ready-to-use ideas that are perfect for both experienced and inexperienced gardeners.
Gardening equipment, furnishings and lighting will also be on hand with exhibitors among the most qualified and original in the sector.
Moreover, visitors will find interesting creative workshops for adults and children, gazebos displaying the most beautiful gardens of Italy and Europe, themed tastings and a rich program of events to be discovered. The event will be catered by the well-known star chef Massimo Spigaroli, offering an authentic experience of Parma’s (the UNESCO world capital of gastronomy) fine cuisine.
