Located at 1,815 meters above sea level, the alpine village of Chamois is among the few places in the world where stress and chaos do not exist. Chamois is the only municipality in Italy totally devoid of roads. It is reachable only by a mule-path of 93 twists and turns, by small aircraft or cableway. Chamois has remained in its purest state, as Mother Nature intended.

On September 1, the Grappa & Friends Club will host an event dedicated to grappa. Distillers of Valle d’Aosta, Piedmont, Trentino and other Italian regions will welcome all visitors to their stands.

The local restaurants and bars will prepare specialties with a Grappa base and offer free tastings.

The event takes place in the central square of the village near the Buisson-Chamois cable car stop.

 

Come visit Chamois and taste a tradition of grappa as natural as the area that surrounds it.
