Itinerary
The walking tour of Trani will depart at:
- 10 am (year-round)
- 3 pm (winter from 1st Oct to 30th April)
- 6 pm sunset tour (from 1st May to 30th September)
The walking tour of Matera will depart from Piazza Vittorio Veneto (Banco di Napoli).
Enjoy the panoramic view of the Sasso Barisano from the piazza. Your guided tour of one of the most suggestive cities in southern Italy will begin here. We will head towards Via Duomo, the access road to the Civita, considered the oldest part of the town. The next stop will be Piazza del Sedile.
You will visit the cave houses, where some inhabitants lived until the first half of the 20th century, and rupestrian churches dug into the rock.
At the end of the tour, we will visit the Cathedral of Santa Maria della Bruna, built in the Apulian Romanesque style embellished internally by baroque decorations.
The guided tour will last approximately 2h 30 min.
