The Masso dei Fanciulle is a corner of paradise located in the municipality of Pomarance, in the province of Pisa. This place is ideal to escape from the stress of one’s everyday life and discover an intimacy with nature: going here has allowed me to find an afternoon of inner peace.
We can swim and enjoy a healthy relaxation. The real boulder is a pond nestled between two stacks; you reach the river and follow the path between the rocks.
The name derives, according to the legend, from three girls who, while escaping from a lord, drowned here.
