Creattiva is the “Wonderland” for those who love manual arts and do-it-yourself, but it is also the right place for curious people who want to know more about this colourful world.
It takes place from 5th to 8th October to the great Exhibition Centre in Bergamo. This event attracts thousands of exhibitors and visitors every year. Whether you are a manual arts addicted or a beginner, by visiting this exhibition you will have the unique opportunity to see and buy all you wish directly from manufactures and distributors.
Wandering around the many stands you will see the widest range of do-it-yourself raw materials: manual and mechanical tools, costume jewellery, candles, paper, tempera, acrylic and oil colors, felt, wool, sewing machines, fabrics, crochet, glass.
There will be plenty of stands dedicated to the entire range of creative hobbies: cake design, floral compositions, creative cuisine, decoration and decoupage, needlework, country objects, patchwork, quilting, embroidery and lace, scrapbooking, sculpture and wood carving.
Courses and demonstrations for experts, beginners and newcomers are organised in special pavilions for the entire duration of the fair. Contact directly the exhibitors and the teachers to register and enjoy a unique experience. It doesn’t matter if you do not even know what a needle is, you will find something that catches your attention among the 1,300 planned events.
Reaching the Exhibition Center is easy both by car and by train. The parking outside the center costs €3 per day. A free shuttle bus service is available at railway station of Bergamo to take you to the fair.

The event “Creattiva” was born in 2008 in Bergamo with an unexpected success: 62 exhibitors and 16.000 visitors. The following year, in view of the positive feedback, the organizing committee doubled the exhibition: one event in spring and one in autumn. In 2012 “Creattiva” went also to Naples and in 2014 it was hosted by the prestigious “Fiera del Levante” in Bari. In 2016 it had a huge success also in Milan, at the THEMALL exhibition space.
“Creattiva” has also his own youtube channel where it is possible to watch the interviews and the tutorials.
Among the events connected to the fair you can find the Fashion Half Marathon (FHM), a creative competition that challenges 21 young designers. Competitors will have 3 days to give free rein to their creativity and create a clothing field. The clothes will parade on the catwalk on Sunday 8 October.
