The Hotel
Our hotel overlooks the southern shore of the nature park and the marine protected area of Plemmirio (Syracuse). Lovely terraces with a sea view make this a truly unique hotel. Immersed in the typical Mediterranean vegetation of Sicily, it offers its guests apartments with attention to detail. It is a perfect destination to relax. The mild climate of the area offers tourists the opportunity to go to this facility at any time of the year. The structure is not equipped with a restaurant, but is able to serve typical dishes on the panoramic terraces to those who request it. Parking, wi-fi, a library, swimming pool, solarium and garden are all at guests’ disposal. It offers babysitting services, laundry, car rental, scooters, rafts and other types of boats and a shuttle service. (services on request not included in the package).
What to See and Do
Syracuse is not only a seaside or summer destination, it also offers vast culture. Don’t miss the opportunity to visit the Archaeological Park of Neapolis, recognized as one of the largest and most important archaeological areas in the whole Mediterranean. Also noteworthy is the Regional Gallery of Palazzo Bellomo where you can admire collections of medieval and modern art, ancient nativity scenes, noble coats of arms and Sicilian carriages from the 1700’s. Plus numerous other museums and places of culture to visit and admire!
The territory also offers breathtaking landscapes, with lovely walking paths along the sea of Syracuse. The best known and most enchanting is the Path of the Maddalena on the southern shore in the protected marine area of Plemmirio. You will also have the opportunity to take a boat tour on the Ciane River in the Ciane Nature Reserve.
