From 25 November to 7 January 2024 the city of Aosta comes alive with Christmas spirit with its “Marché Vert Noel”. Created in 2008 thanks to a simple but brilliant idea: to create a lively Alpine village in the heart of Aosta, complete with wooden chalets and an authentic fir forest, immersed in music, lights and joy. For the first five editions, the Christmas market animated Piazza Severino Caveri, but in 2013 it transferred its magic to the suggestive archaeological area of ​​the Roman Theatre.

Due to the ongoing renovation works, which have made the archaeological area unavailable, the event has moved to three historic squares in Aosta: Piazza Giovanni XXIII (of the Cathedral), Piazza Roncas, and Piazza Caveri (for events).

The opening times are as follows:
Monday to Friday, 11am-8pm
Saturdays and holidays, 10am-10pm
December 25th and January 1st, 3pm-8pm
