El Paes dei Presepi is how the small village of Miola on the Piné plateau in the province of Trento defines itself. Every Holiday Season, the village celebrates the ancient tradition of decorating the town with nativity scenes. Many of them are handcrafted by the residents themselves and the journey through the village is even more engaging because, along the way, you will also find games and entertainment.

Mark your calendar for the following dates: 8, 9, 10, 17, 24, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31 December 2023 and 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 January 2024

And don’t miss the nativity scene exhibition at El Casel in Miola on the following days:
8, 9, 10, 17, 24, 26, 29, 30, 31 December and 1, 5, 6 January from 11am to 5.30pm.
On 27, 28 December and 2, 3, 4 January from 1.30 pm to 5.30 pm

All Aboard the Christmas Train

Hop on this completely free service that connects Miola and the center of Baselga di Piné with a panoramic tour that also passes through the ice skating rink, Lake Serraia and the historic part of the village of Baselga. The whole route is about 30 minutes.

Take the Shuttle to the Trento Christmas Market

And if you want to amplify the Christmas experience, on certain dates, a shuttle will even take you to the famous Trento markets departing from Brusago, Piazze and Baselga di Piné. Reservations are mandatory. This service is reserved for holders of the Trentino Guest Card.
