The thermal baths in the Emilia-Romagna region will be celebrating their annual Notte Celeste event on Saturday, June 15th.
This year marks the eighth edition of the event, which last year brought in over 70 thousand people. It will include 19 regional spas, from the Apennines to the Riviera, with an amazing list of events in store.
This year, for the first time, the Emilia, Bologna-Modena and Romagna tourist organizations will be an integral part of the event, enhancing the calendar of events in the spa resorts and urban decor.
The various thermal spas involved in the event are: Terme di Salsomaggiore, Terme di Tabiano, Thermal Center il Baistrocchi (Salsomaggiore Terme), Terme di Monticelli, Terme di Cervarezza (Re), Terme della Salvarola (Sassuolo), Terme di Porretta, Terme dell’Agriturismo (Monterenzio), Terme di Castel San Pietro, Terme di Riolo, Terme di Cervia, Terme di Castrocaro, Grand Hotel Terme della Fratta (Bertinoro), Ròseo Euroterme Wellness Resort (Bagno di Romagna), Hotel of the Terme Santa Agnese (Bagno di Romagna), Grand Hotel Terme Roseo (Bagno di Romagna), Thermae Oasis (Lido delle Nazioni – Comacchio), Riminiterme and Riccione Terme.
The day’s events are dedicated to wellness and slow tourism: from hydrotherapy routes to e-bike tours and Nordic walking; from the parties in the square “Dancing under the stars” to guided tours to explore the underground thermal springs; from wellness walks to the numerous initiatives dedicated to families and children; from concerts at dawn on the beach to conferences dedicated to “Forest Therapy“, the ancient anti-stress and antidepressant remedy.
All the spa towns will be “colored” with flags to match the logo of the Notte Celeste. Complete details can be found on the official website which also presents special stay proposals, for a weekend dedicated to relaxation and well-being, developed by tour operators. You can always stay connected during the party thanks to social networks: the hashtag is #notteceleste.
“Wellness, health and relaxation are becoming great tourist drivers, an increasingly concrete and relevant travel motivation for both the domestic and foreign markets,” declared the Regional Tourism Councilor Andrea Corsini. “The Celestial Night is the best opportunity to respond to this growing demand.”
