Perugia Flower Show is back with its Winter Edition on September 16th and 17th 2017, in the wonderful setting of the Frontone Gardens. The floricultural event offers an exhibition of rare and obsolete plants that will make its visitors enjoy a spring atmosphere, even if only for a weekend.

The goal set for the first edition in 2008 by the creator and the organizer of the event Lucia Boccolini, was to spread the culture and knowledge of botany and gardening in Umbria, the green heart of Italy. A goal fully achieved, given the enormous success gained over the last ten years. Each edition, in fact, in addition to hosting a great number of exhibitors, has on average 15,000 visitors, allowing the event to be accredited today among the most important floricultural events in Italy.

Inside the Gardens, it will be possible to admire numerous species of roses, hydrangeas, orchids, aquatic plants, aromatic plants and some examples of bonsais; without forgetting varieties of citrus trees, carnivorous plants, succulent and Mediterranean ones, just to name a few.
In addition, there will be also some sections dedicated to handicraft, to gardening equipment, to exterior design, but also to food and wine specialties and wellness products.

There will also be meetings on cultivation, guided tastings and mini-conferences, held by the exhibitors themselves, on the history, use and care of the plants.
There will also be space for smaller children, for whom workshops and practical activities will be set up to get them interested in environmental awareness and respect for the environment.

Perugia Flower Show offers a total green weekend, with an exhibition that can’t be missed by the lovers of the nature and its creations.

Have you missed this event? Do not worry, it will be held again in September next year. Don’t forget to consult the magazine next September to find out the dates of the 2018 edition.
