Back by popular demand, the spectacular coastal city of Vasto (Chieti, Abruzzo) will be the backdrop of the highly anticipated Siren festival.

Vasto, shining star of the Trabocchi Coast has boasted the title of the “Athens of Abruzzo” for its artistic wealth and cultural elements. It also proves to be a worldly city, bright and festive, especially in the summer months when its beaches, alleys and architecture are populated by numerous tourists. The Siren Festival is the highlight of the summer providing four days of pure fun (from 26 to 29 July) with six stages scattered about the picturesque coastal town. There will be over thirty live artists, DJ sets and excellent food.

The Siren festival, organized by Stardust Productions Association and DNA concerts, combines alternative contemporary artists who demolish genre barriers including: Indie, acoustic, experimental and electronic music. This year’s lineup sees the return of the post-pank band Public Image LTD led by Johnny Rotten, Slowdive and also two equally beloved German bands Lali Puna and Mouse on Mars.

Other favorites such as 2manydj’s and Cosmo, Bud Spencer Blues Explosion, Colapesce, Ryley Walker, Toy, Germanò, the Bitter, Rodrigo Amarante and so on and so forth! The Italian edition of the famous magazine Rolling Stone has included the Siren Festival among the ten best festivals not to be missed. They won’t be the only ones to celebrate it because every year this open-air festival will only continue to gain more acclaim and will undoubtedly live up to your expectations!
