Itinerary
Day 1
Walking tour Bari: You’ll meet your local guide at the Swabian Castle in Bari. You’ll be accompanied on a guided tour of old Bari for about 2 hours where you’ll see the exterior of the castle, the San Sabino Cathedral, the streets where the famous orecchiette pasta is made, San Nicola Basilica, Piazza Mercantile and Piazza del Ferrarese. €25 per person in Italian and €35 in English.
Walking tour Alberobello: the tour of Alberobello lasts about 2 hours and includes a visit to the Aia Piccola and Monti districts. It also includes the Basilica Santi Medici, the Siamese Trullo and the Trullo Church of St. Anthony. Cost per person is €25 in Italian or €35 in English.
Day 2
Tour with minivan of Matera: departure at 8.30 from Bari (meeting in front of the Petruzzelli Theater). Guided tour of 2 and a half hours of the city of Matera. Free time for lunch or to explore the city on your own. Departure from Matera at 3.30pm. Return to Bari by 4.30pm. Cost per person € 129. The cost includes transfer by minivan with driver to and from Bari with destination Matera + guided tour of the city of Matera. Entrance to cave churches is not included (optional).
