The walking tour in Ostuni will depart at:
- 10 am (all the year)
- 3 pm (winter from 1st oct to 30th apr)
- 6 pm sunset tour (from 1st may to 30th september)
The walking tour will depart from Piazza Mazzini (San Francesco Church).
Ostuni is called the White City, because all the buildings located in its historic center, whether they are houses or monuments, are painted in white lime from the roof down. The city is perched on a hill of about 200 mt and its ancient village consists of alleys and streets that intertwine until you reach the highest part where the majestic Cathedral of Santa Maria dell’Assunzione is located. Walking through the old town centre, you’ll be immersed in a tangle of winding streets that intersect with squares, alleys and courtyards. From the terraces, you can also admire the stretch of olive trees until you see the crystal clear sea.
