What could be better than combining the natural landscape of Italy’s Trentino region with its authentic flavors? Beginning this spring and throughout the summer, the Trentino Wine Road (Strada del Vino e dei Sapori del Trentino) has come up with a jam-packed calendar of events with you in mind. After the long winter, it’s time to live again!
Whether you’re planning a day trip or longer, these events are designed to broaden your horizons about the culture, food, wine, and landscape. Events range from guided tours to picnics, tastings, cooking, workshops, and more! The possibilities are truly endless!
Among the many novelties this year, Taste & Walk, Taste & Bike, and Taste & Train stand out.
In a single article it would be impossible to go into detail about all the scheduled events, but here is just one example of Taste & Bike (which can also be enjoyed by e-bike or by car) in the Cimbra Alps:
- Departs at 3pm every Saturday from Lavarone with a welcome drink
- 2 hours of pedaling through woods and meadows to Lake Lavarone.
- Tasting at the Caseificio del Vezzena
- Return route via Luserna
- 8 pm dinner with classic Trentino dishes and wines at the Malga Millegrobbe
There is a range of options for all types of visitors and hikers from couples looking for the perfect wine to families with young children looking for a hands-on learning experience in nature.
