The Casa Moderna Expo
This is the concept behind the 66th edition of Casa Moderna, the eagerly awaited expo dedicated to the home and furnishings. The dates this year are from October 5-13, 2019 in Martignacco (Udine) and the slogan is “live with passion”. It’s an incentive that supports the local economy while offering a range of concrete solutions as well as anticipating new trends and innovation based on the solid foundations of the present and with a broad look at the future .
500 brands represented and 250 exhibitors, workshops and informative appointments in collaboration with the Order of Architects of Udine are just some of what Casa Moderna offers. Specifically, you can expect to see: bathroom furniture, furniture (with particular attention to art, design, as well as custom furniture), bio-architecture, “green” building, furnishing accessories and objects, kitchens, buildings, systems, lighting, floors, stairs, swimming pools, saunas, carpets, curtains, linens, stoves and fireplaces, plants and flowers; but also security systems and video surveillance, energy saving, accident prevention, anti-theft and fire protection, automatic doors and gates, windows, insurance, safes, railings, fences and home automation systems.
Every single aspect of the living space will be covered, with the professionalism and foresight that the changing and controversial times in which we live require. There will be a special focus on eco-sustainable buildings (estimated at 60% of building projects) and especially on security.
Useful info
From October 5-13, the fairgrounds will welcome visitors from Monday to Friday from 3.00 pm to 9.00 pm and on Saturday and Sunday from 10.00 am to 9.00 pm. Parking is free, with over three thousand parking spaces. A free babysitting service will also be available for parents called “Baby Parking”.
On Tuesday, October 8th, everyone under 35 gets in free!
The Fair will be held at the Udine Fiere in Martignacco.

Getting There
Udine Fiere is just a few minutes away from Udine. The fairground is located inside the Parco del Cormòr and is actually a converted cotton mill. It is easily reachable from the A-23 motorway (Udine-Treviso, Udine nord exit) and from the A-4 (Venice-Trieste, Udine sud exit). Buses will also be provided which will connect the train station to the event.
