The fantastic city of Palermo becomes even more alive and magical at Christmas with many events scheduled for the entire month of December through Epiphany.

To start, the world-famous Teatro Massimo in the center of Palermo has several scheduled performances of the most popular Christmas ballet of all time, Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker. Mark your calendars for December 16, 17, 18, 20, 21, 22, and 23.

And while you’re in Palermo, why not take advantage of the other Christmas events in the city? At Parco Villa Filippina there is the wonderful New Christmas Village from 7 December to 7 January 2024. An ice rink, markets, and Christmas shows (many of which are free to enter) will leave you in awe!
