December is the ideal month to enjoy the Christmas atmosphere. In this small village in the Florentine Apennines, you can experience the magic of the season at the Palazzuolo sul Senio Christmas Market and the “1000 Nativities”.
Palazzuolo sul Senio Christmas Market
The Market will be open throughout the village streets for the first three Sundays of December. Palazzuolo will turn into a magical Christmas village that will enchant all its visitors with its colors, lights, music, and joyous atmosphere.
Beginning in the morning, the stalls will display their fine handicrafts and delicious foods. You can sip on mulled wine and snack on roasted chestnuts to warm up on a cold winter day.
The centerpiece of the whole event is obviously the main square of the village: Piazza IV Novembre. The square will be festively decorated and ready to offer many gift ideas, decorations, and exquisite typical dishes, as well as hosting music, shows and lots of entertainment for young and old.
